A student's HPU experience is greatly enhanced by his or her participation in any one of the many student clubs and organizations (clubs, associations, honor societies, student government, etc.) officially-affiliated with the University. These organizations offer HPU students opportunities to participate in a variety co-curricular experiences.
Officially-affiliated student organizations, called Registered Independent Organizations (RIOs), are an excellent way to meet new people from around the world and enrich your HPU experience. The active RIOs are listed here. If you do not see the perfect match for your strengths and interests, or would like to help “reinvent” one of the inactive clubs, contact the Coordinator of Leadership Development at leadership@hpu.edu to learn more.
Use the links below for the information page of each student club or organization registered with the Center for Student Life and First-Year Programs. The page provides:

- A brief description of the organization.
- Identification of majors, degrees, interests, etc. that a student might want to know.

Academic and Professional RIOs - These RIOs focus in either academic or professional fields. Many of these organizations coordinate networking and educational events for the HPU and local communities.
Cultural and Spiritual RIOs - HPU is a university with students from richly diverse cultural, ethnic, national, and spiritual backgrounds. These RIOs help educate and provide opportunities for the HPU community to become culturally immersed in our unique environment and allow our students to make friends from all over the world.
Special Interest RIOs - These organizations serve an eclectic range of student interests, combining a variety of academic, artistic, social, political, physically active, and community service-related disciplines.
